Lake Zurich:

If you are looking for an affordable solution there is a new PULTE Homes subdivision on the East side of Rand Rd just north of Miller Road. 2 or 3 bedroom, 3 level town homes all under $300,000.

Forest Lake is a subdivision on the East side of Quentin rd north or Route 22 and south of Old McHenry Rd. Forest Lake has some individual newly constructed homes for sale ranging from about $380,000 up to just under $500,000. Typically these are being built on previously unbuilt lots and more commonly where old homes have been torn down. So if you want Lake Rights to Forest Lake, this is the place to be!

Coventry Creeks new subdivision has some homes left and the others are scattered around.

Kildeer:

Sanctuary Club Drive is located off Route 22 just east of Quentin Rd. New homes have just been started and are available from around $800,000 and  up.

Other new subdivisions are The Enclave, Prairie Creek, Meadowood Estates as well as some individual new homes scattered around Kildeer. Most of these homes are over $1 million.

Hawthorn Woods:

The biggest new developement is Hawthorn Woods Country Club on which you can find executive town homes and single family homes. Countryside Meadows and Thornfield also have some homes and again there are some individual builds scattered around. prices at Hawthorn Woods Country Club start at about $600,000 and there are some re-sale homes too. Prices in generally go to to $2 million for the larger homes.

Long Grove:

Ravena is a new subdivision off Route 83 north of Route 22. Homes here start as low as $750,000 and go up to $1,300,000. There are homes in some other subdivisions and if you are looking for the most luxurious home in Long Grove with nearly 15 acres of land, and over 12,000 square feet of living space, give me a call, I have just the home for you! Other larger homes on acreage also available, some ready to go, others built to your spec.

Vacant Land:

Want to build your own custom home? The place to start is to look for a lot on which you can build. The zip code 60047 has 107 active listings of available lots from less than a quarter acre up to almost 9 acres. There are also some commercial lots available in the area. Prices start at $84,600 and top out at $10 million, so bring a big check book!

 

 

New Construction Homes in Barrington, Inverness, Deer Park, & Lake, South, or North Barrington, & The Village.

There are still a surprising number of newly constructed homes, or homes under or about to start construction in the Barrington area.

Lake Barrington: Tallgrass is a new subdivision off Kelsey Rd being built by Michael Graft. Lots are 1 acre or more and the subdivision is on both sides of the road. It is going to be a gated community. Currently available is a ranch home and most homes are expected to be $1 million to $2 million plus. Close by is another small new subdivision called Walnut Grove on which about 6 new homes are being constructed on the left side of Kelsey Rd. Prices here are around $1.2 million and lot sizes are 1 acre.

South Barrington: The Woods of South Barrington still has homes available in the adult gated community. These are ranch homes and prices are around $500,000 to $600,000. There are a few ready single family homes and the last phase is under way. There are also some individual homes on some of the existing subdivisions with prices going up to $4 million.

Inverness: There is very little new construction here, limited to one off builds on previously un built lots. There are some town homes available on the new subdivision of Maison Du Comte which is opposite Harper College.

Deer Park: There is a small new subdivision just off Deerpath called Foxridge Ct. Lot sizes are 1 to 2 acres, there are 6 available with a couple of homes already built.

Barrington Hills: There are some mini mansions available ranging in price from $1,200,00 up to $7,275,000 and the homes are scattered throughout the Hills.

Barrington: Areas designated as Barrington also have some individual homes and there are also some in The Village. Where you want to live you will still find a good selection of newly constructed homes but not at the lower end of the price range.

Barrington Vacant Land: Want to build your own custom home? The place to start is to look for a lot on which you can build. The Barrington zip code has 167 lots available to buy. Prices as low as $86000 for a lot in Port Barrington, as little as $99,000 for nearly an acre, $248,500 and up  for 4 plus acres. There are plenty of 1 plus or 5 acre lots to choose from and for the premium lot in Barrington, the asking price is $2.4 million. There are also some large lots that could be subdivided and developed.
